He had three great- grandchildren: Tate, Maddison and Brielle Gary started his career working for Kaufman Buick (now Becker Buick) here in Spokane. He then started his 45-year sales career working for JC Penney, Proctor & Gamble, Industrial Chemical Laboratories, Nalley's Fine Foods and Double D Foods. He then decided he was going to work for himself and started the family business Food Service Specialists, a very successful food service brokerage company that had offices in Spokane, Bellevue and Portland. After 20 years, his company was eventually purchased by a national company. Several years later he once again started the last brokerage company, Agen & Associates.
