| John Jacob Dormaier, 77, of Spokane, WA passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
He was born in Spokane on May 26, 1941 to Jake and Marie Dormaier. In 1965, John married Laurel King. They have two children
together, Leah and Erik. That same year, he also graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering.
After graduation, he accepted a position with Culler, Gale, Martell & Ericson. In 1990 he went to work for the Mead School District as
Construction Manager until he retired in 2011.
John enjoyed cycling, photography and being with his grandchildren. His friends and family will always remember him as a loving and caring person.
John is survived by his wife, Laurel Dormaier of Spokane, WA; his sister, Carol Farnham of Spokane, WA; his daughter Leah (Clint) Hale of Walla Walla, WA;
his son Erik (Dawn Smith) Dormaier of Seattle, WA; and granddaughters Mackenzie and Rylee Hale.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Marie of Spokane, WA.
