| Jim was born in Oakland California to John E. and Naomi Chasteen Griffin.
He married Sherry Maugh September 12th 1967. He passed away in Missoula Montana on February 6th 1972. Surviving
are his wife Sherry, son John W. Griffin, two daughters Louri Griffin of Pittsburg, PA. Shonie Griffin of Missoula,
brother Mike Griffin in Vietnam, his father and two grandmothers, Mrs. Jennie Griffin of California and Mrs. Lucille
Chasteen of Clarkston. His mother died in 1968 at Clarkston. Jim served in the United States Army in Vietnam.
