SCHEEL, Anita Louise (Janssen)

Anita was born on July 22, l936 to Lloyd and Ester Scheel at the old St. Luke's Hospital in Spokane. After graduating from Lewis and Clark High School in 1955, she attended EWU and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1958. She started her first teaching job at Mead Junior High School in 1958, where she met her future husband, Orval Janssen, who was also a first-year teacher.
