| The only son and youngest of four siblings, Jim was born July 5, 1940,
in Spokane, Washington, to James J. and Susan (Ring) Walsh. His father passed away when he was only nine years of
age; his mother, when he was ten. His sisters - three courageous women, especially Peg - stepped up to raise him and
to keep the family together. Jim attended the parish Catholic school (St. Ann) and in 1958 graduated from Lewis and
Clark High School. He married Gerrie Forster in 1962 and together they blessed the world with three sons: James IV,
Thomas, and Patrick. James passed away on November 13, 2022.
